A repeat shot, this time with my X-T4.

I have walked past this home on Dorchester Ave many times but never noticed the 3D frieze on the gable end.

I like this style of font on signs. Something 1940/50s. I also see it on the USPS buildings (for instance, in Colorado in Glenwood Springs)

My friends Sommer and Pete had the idea to do a late afternoon walk around Lynn, MA to see the murals.

I liked the strong light and shadow, too bad I didn’t get the whole lamp

I thought the black and white with the sun would have worked out better….

I kind of like the emotions you could ascribe, Dominique looking on weirdly, is it anger, harrumph? Is Sommer walking away, eyes down? Or was no one paying attention to the photographer???

This was POSED and they obeyed for once. I am not happy I didnt compose to get the entire Lad and Lassie sign in the crop….but my subjects refused to obey…..sigh, need better models….

A wide angle lens would really have helped. And the area have cool vintage neon signs, in fact, I think there is a museum with a collection….

I dunno, it appealed to me…..not sure it works….
